Mastery Since 2002: In the Living Heart of History
My journey in the heart of jewelry craftsmanship began in 2002, within the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul—a unique place where the legacy of empires is still alive and the echoes of history can be felt in every stone. Rooted in this historic atmosphere, I learned my craft through the discipline of the Armenian masters of the Ottoman era, inheriting a legacy of patience and unrivaled precision.
To further refine my artistry, I expanded my horizons by learning advanced techniques from master craftsmen in Thailand, integrating their world-renowned methods of precision into my own practice. In 2016-2017, after 14 years of professional practice, I formalized my expertise by graduating from Jewelry School, excelling in wax modeling, goldsmithing, design, technical drawing, casting, and basic CAD design. These achievements earned me the right to become a certified instructor.
Today, I seamlessly blend these diverse global traditions with modern-day tools and technology, ensuring the heritage craft remains vibrant. In my workshop, I provide a unique experience for my guests and students: using a trinocular microscope, I allow them to witness the finest details of the craft as it is performed, making the invisible world of jewelry visible. My expertise spans a wide spectrum—from the nostalgic soul of vintage designs to the clean lines of modern aesthetics, working with gold, silver, and platinum.
Beyond stone setting, I am currently expanding my artistry into the intricate world of hand engraving, a discipline that requires the ultimate focus and a steady hand. With over two decades of experience, my mission extends beyond the bench. I am dedicated to mentoring the next generation, passing on my deep-rooted knowledge and acquired wisdom to those who share a passion for this ancestral art. For me, jewelry is not just a profession; it is a bridge between generations, where history meets the future.
